I've had a brilliant year singing lots of wonderful Handel but am looking forward to exploring some different repertoire in the next academic year. During the academic year 14/15 I shall be performing the rôles of Anne Truelove in Stravinsky's The Rake's Progress and Nella in Puccini's Gianni Schicchi as part of Royal Academy Opera. Keep an eye on my diary for performance dates as shows sell out very quickly at the Academy.

I met the wonderful harpsichordist/fortepianist Nathaniel Mander in 2008 whilst I was working as a steward in the Dartington International Summer School and we have remained firm friends musically and unmusically! This year, I was fortunate to be chosen to represent the Royal Academy of Music in the intercollegiate Sir Anthony Lewis Memorial Competition. We had enormous fun preparing very unusual repertoire for the competition and with the help of lutenist Toby Carr, I was awarded Second Prize. Nathaniel, Toby and I will also be performing in the final of the John Kerr Award at Finchcocks Museum, Kent on the 26th of October 2014.
